University Of Wolverhampton currently has 23,084 students. It comprises of four campuses in UK (Wolverhampton, Telford, Walsall and Compton) and contains nine academic schools, nine research Institute and Centres and teaches its curriculum in four continents around the globe. In 150 years of pioneering education for all, the University is now a global provider of entrepreneurial education.

Achievements


The quality of the University of Wolverhampton’s teaching and learning is assessed by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), which reviews all UK higher education institutions. Following the most recent QAA Audit, they received a glowing report which found ‘broad confidence’ (the highest level of commendation) in the University’s academic standards and the quality of the learning experience... They were also praised for outstanding support for students.
Many subjects such as Law, Engineering, Education, Nursing and Midwifery, and Pharmacy are subject to strict inspections by regulatory bodies and we are in good standing with each of these.

The most recent National Student Survey rated University of Wolverhampton as one of the best in the country for the quality of its learning resources and access to specialist equipment. The Research Assessment Exercise (RAE), which assesses the quality of research in universities and colleges in the UK, rated many elements of their research as four-star, equivalent to world leading. As a result, their allocation from the Higher Education Funding Council of £1.9 million research funding was the highest amount for any new university in the West Midlands.

At the International Research and Innovation Awards run by the Chartered Institute of Building, first prize goes to the Wolverhampton University’s Carl Fergusson for his Masters Dissertation on sustainability in the UK highways sector.
The University of Wolverhampton is a Member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (A.C.U.). The University is committed to pioneering new, flexible learning programmes, allowing students to study in off-campus delivery mode.
The Degree awarded in TEG International College is the same Degree Awarded as On-Campus in UK, University of Wolverhampton.

Since 2004, the University of Wolverhampton Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) are all validate by the UK IET -IEng Level. The award is also accreditated by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers UK at partial "Chartered Engineering Level" for the B Eng programme, and full "Chartered Engineering level" for the M Eng programme.
